I do think that there is a possibility of a late Calzaghe TKO.

However, I think that there is a risk of a boring fight, marred by Hopkins running around and using a lot of hugging and headbutts and taking a robbery decision on hometown decision.
Hopkins is gonna fight from the outside, inside imo (also known by some as running)

Im torn (not in a natalie imbruliga way though) to be honest, in the beggining i went for calzaghe, this week, i leaned towards hops, now im thinking calzaghe again.

Ill stick with a boring calzaghe UD, but i got a feeling there is gonna be a shock.

No doubt whatsoever Calzaghe has that kind of heart, and that kind of chin.

I wouldn't think so, but when you watch that fight carefully it's plain to see that Kessler missed dozens of openings that Hopkins would be able to close on in his sleep.. Add about 20 or 30 more clean, hard power punches to what Kessler did, and you might have a different picture.

I'm starting to lean towards Hopkins, simply because this guy is like a robot and if Calazghe rushes in, Hopkins will pick him apart piece by piece.

However, will his age nd the fact that hes slow play a part in this?

Calzaghe is gonna have to be careful, so he doesn't get too excited and get battered by the counter right. Calzaghe isn't gonna knock out Hopkins so hes gonna have to be ****ing incredible, just to win on points.

Personally, if I was Calzaghe. I wouldn't have taken this fight. If he wins, hes beaten a washed-up 43-year old and if he loses, his career is literally over with the 0 gone.

Difference is Calzaghe will be 12 million dollars richer after tonight, more than he's made his entire career combined. I agree it is sort of lose, lose for him tonight besides that. I get a kick out of how people are saying Hopkins throws one punch per millenia these days, he threw 640 punches in the Wright fight, which was 8 months ago. 640 punches tonight will be more than enough to win, especially since Calzaghe's punch output will drop dramatically after he gets countered a zillion times.

Did that guy call Calzaghe the Italion Dragon? Haha, but anyway, I've actually been thinking that.

Pretty sure Calzaghe isn't underestimating Hopkins power because Calzaghe had to deal with ppl underestimating his own power through out his career. His slaps that hurt Chris Eubank, Mikkel Kessler, Jeff Lacy, Mitchell, and everyone else on his record. I think Calzaghe still hits harder then Hopkins though.

I'd say it's a bit early to be drunk; but it is a Saturday.
