    Legend? It's certainly debatable.

clinching is part of the game, matter of fact, an excellent trainer will tell you to clinch at certain points in a fight. u are not a real boxing fan, if u can sit up here and call a man's legacy into question b/c of 1 fight. winky didn't complain about the clinching, so how do you think you sound???

40 some odd fights, and never fighting another top 10 fighter, or anyone that has EVER been in the p4p top 10, and calling yourself a legend- that's debateable!

It's how he loses that will affect the way he is viewed.

As Pops said: "If Calzaghe loses clean to a 43-year-old Hopkins, then his legacy will be stained with the "overprotected fighter who never left his country to fight the best in America."

your boy goes to sleep tonight, get that "conspiracy theory" out of your head.

he's gonna get robbed just like ricky hatton was. any loss will affect how calzaghe is viewed. he must win, and its how he wins that will determine. hopkins is a 43 year old man, and let a lot of you tell it, especially after watching the wright fight, he is obviously shot. calzaghe has no choice but to win, and win BIG.

Calzaghe has fought plenty of top 10 fighters in his division. P4P? GTFO of here, so if Joe fights Pacquiao and beats him, that makes him a legend in your book?

You mean the fight where his Bernard's punch output was double what it usually is?

When has anyone won BIG against Hopkins? Except maybe a young Roy Jones Jr?

If Calzaghe gets fouled all night and then gets robbed in a decision, it means absolutely nothing, don't kid yourself.

It's annoying how you can sit there and tell me I'm "not a real boxing fan." You don't know me. There is a good chance I have been following boxing for longer than you have been alive. I accept your views and opinions, but I don't respect the fact that you are getting personal with me. 31 years following boxing... and some guy on a message board tells me I'm "not a real boxing fan"? That doesn't wash with me, pal.

Clinching "at certain ponts" is OK. Clinching every 16.36 seconds is apparently championship prizefighter material?

Most fighters are gauged by their last or most recent fights. It means a lot, Chi.

He's not saying it's right, but it's the truth. Do you honestly think Hatton is not judged mostly by his last fight? Why else would people be thinking Junior Witter has a chance with him?

Garbage? How else are we supposed to gauge where a fighter is at if we can't do it from recent fights?

Have you heard the saying "you're only as good as your last fight"?
