Bell (199 lb.), Adamek (198 lb.) Make Weight

KATOWICE, POLAND – Both Tomasz Adamek (IBF #3) and O’ Neil Bell (IBF #7) made weight for their IBF Cruiserweight Eliminator bout at the Spodek Arena in Katowice, Poland, it was announced today by Main Events CEO Kathy Duva.

Adamek weighed in at 198 lbs while Bell weighed 199 lbs, both coming in under the 200 lb. cruiserweight limit.

The 12-round bout will be broadcast live on ESPN Classic tomorrow (Saturday, 6PM ET/3PM PT)

“Bell is a good fighter, but I am better,” said Adamek. “I will box smart, win this bout, and then fight for the IBF Cruiserweight Championship.” [details]

Adamek has no business @ Cruiser IMO. He's in over his head for this fight IMO. Bell is too strong. Look, Adamek couldn't even hurt Dawson and look how many times Johnson hurt Dawson last week. Adamek doesn't have the power to keep Bell off him is what I'm saying.

Dawson was off-balance and it was a flash KD. Johnson had Dawson hurt MANY times in their fight which wasn't the case for Dawson/Adamek.

I think it's hilarious that you think Adamek wins big on Saturday. Really, I do. The only way Adamek wins this fight is if Bell gets screwed out of a decision which is possible since the fight is in Poland. But, I fully expect Bell to KHTFO.

I guess we'll find out tomorrow who has the last laugh. We know that I'm the one who put his points up.
