Joe Calzaghe couldn't carry Hopkins jock strap. He's getting exposed like the rest of the Eurobums!

Hopkins has been in there with the best, so what he looks bad at times, look who he fights. Joe always looks good because look who he fights. plain and simple. Hopkins has been in the ring with Roy, Tarver, Winky, Taylor, Glenn Johnson, Trinidad, Oscar, all top notch guys, only top guy that Joe has been in with is Kessler who probably isnt that good either considering he only fights over seas also.

Hopkins is a very tough fighter. There's a chance that he may not let Joe get started or get in a comfort zone. We'll see.

Predicting a Hopkins victory isn't delusional. It's good to have people picking the upset but you have to understand that it is an upset if Hopkins wins. If Hopkins wins in a dominant fashion then there will be a large number of people very surprised. If Hopkins wins a contentious decision or cheats his way to victory it won't be as big a surprise but it would still be surprising.

My prediction is that Calzaghe wins a decision by a fairly wide margin after outworking Hopkins in the early and middle rounds and the fight ends with the last few rounds being close to even which will lead Hopkins to the totally unjustified conclusion that he was somehow robbed.

Agree with the overall assessment, only I think Calzaghe moves away from round 4 onwards and it just gets harder and harder for Hopkins as the fight goes on. The early rounds will be the closest.

That's also a possibility and a fair assessment. I just think that Hopkins is a very slow starter and seems to have an "o ****" moment around the ninth when he realises he's behind.
