I live in Europe (Denmark) but I never really cared. if I have to stay up till 3-4-5 in the morning... It's the sport I love, so why not?

I hate when unappreciative Euros deny the huge turning point role the U.S. played in WWII. Let's say for the sake of argument, if the US did not enter WWII. Would Germany have been defeated? Maybe, but the more plausible scenario would be, that Europe would have suffered much more immeasurable prolonged pain and suffering and the post WWII map would have been much more different in a negative way...

To be fair, Mr well named 'war', didnt't start it, a dodgy comment did. He isn't saying US didn't contribute a lot, very few do. What he is saying is it's often ill judged how much, in comparison to others like the UK and Russia, which is a fair argument. You hear however, the "you'd be speaking german if it wasn't for us crap" far more, then even that's said.

The Russians were the biggest losers casualty wise, by far. They deserve far more credit, death rate was in a different league, they sacrificed a lot to hold things together.

Anyways, hope that doesn't go on to much. It's a little annoying having to stay up til perhaps 4am tomorrow by time it finishes, but I'm quite a night owl anyway luckily and I understand the need, It's cool. What is annoying is when a fights over here, like Lacy, it was still at 3am our time, just so the yanks could see it at a good hour. No ok I'm willing to compromise on time so the bigger American market can see the fight, but 3am UK time, ffs, at least 1am or something.

Whiskey and coke tomorrow on the town tomorrow me thinks, arrive home buzzing on the stuff for the fight for a few more hours, good times! :-)

As the global economy slows down, the usa will have to join other markets to keep the money coming in. So I look forward to the day the yanks have to stay up till 5 in the morning to warch woods vs tarver, and think to themselves " Damn I missed sleep for this".

This sunday mornings fight will be worth it though.
