Analyze the footage OBJECTIVELY...Then ask yourself....Did the barrage of punches signify Stoppage? Sure Joe threw a whole lot of punches but few of them actually connected

so what, this fight is completely irrelevent.
But yeah Manfredo was biding his time then he was going to KTFO Joe Calzaghe with a brutal right cross, shame he fought like a mushroom. -

yeah, he didn't land much, because Peter just curled into a ball like a frightened hedgehog and showed a complete lack of heart and willingness to fight.
This fight isn't worth discussing, and your gripe is with the ref.
This fight was bull****.
Manfredo is ****.Comment

True but you've got to fight back. Yes it was stopped too early, but do you honestly think that Manfredo was going to do the distance?/ I lost a lot of respect for him when he came out with all that BS about letting Joe punch himself out and then going on the counter attack. Judging Calzaghe by this fight is like judging Bernard by the De La Hoya fight - any mw champ worth their salt should ko a blown up light middle or welter weight.
Putting any weight into the De La Hoya fight is the equivalent of saying that Hopkins would be competitive against Lennox Lewis and then Lennox claiming that he'd defeated a legend and putting the Hopkins win over genuine Heavyweights.Comment

We all know/knew that Manfredo was/is trash, but Calzaghe will have to throw with alot more authority to even get Hopkins' attention.Comment

Nobody will disagree with you.
Calzaghe treated Manfredo with the contempt he deserved. As soon as Manfredo complained they should have put him right back in with Joe. lol.
It was a pointless fight, and Joe looked half arsed himself.Comment

I agree, but you missed the part about calzaghe and hopkins...calzaghe needing to throw with FAR more intensity to even get Hopkins attention.Comment
