I think he was just saying it because he then said he had Macca and Bradley Pryce there so I would think they have gotten in the ring with Calzaghe for some sparring.

i've heard more from enzo than i have from joe.

trainers are suppose to be focused and work on their tactics and making sure their fighters are in the right frame of mind and in perfect shape. let the fighters talk and sell the fight. this is gonna be joe's biggest name on his resume. a win here would be big for joe. no point in talking down hopkins it'll lower the credit joe will get when he beats bernard. let alone how bad it'll look if bernard pulls it out which is a possibility too.

Enzo's giving it some extra lip this week. I reckon he's trying to keep the pressure off Joe who doesn't really enjoy the buildup.
