You know what's funny about that? If he hadn't of fought Margarito, he wouldn't of been the TRUE champion. He was champion and wanted to show everyone he was the true champion and was that was proved very wrong. It may have been ******ed of Cintron financially, but that doesn't make him an overall idiot for trying to prove himself a true champion.

      You call that pressure?

I call that the most ineffective slugging I have ever seen. Walking into punches all night, trying to land one shot, which he never even got close to landing.

Corrales was never active enough to be a pressure fighter. More of a straight up power puncher.

I'm TOTALLY not defending what he said about PBF vs Cotto. I'm just saying that people are really ****ting on him with STFU and "**** of ******".

To Addison........yeah, in retrospect it wasn't a smart decision but hindsight is 20/20. Also bravery and ******ity are not entirely exclusive of one another. Cintron could've taken easier fights against other top WW's who he matches up better with but he made a calculated decision to avenge his only loss.

That's extremely melodramatic, and right from the mouth of his trainer Emanuel Steward; who was backpeddling when he said he wasn't confident Cintron would win. Based on that logic virtually nobody in the history of the sport who didn't fight absolutely everyone was a true champion.

Staying away from Margarito would have been wise. Period.

It goes 12 rounds in my opinion. Unless Mayweather gets caught up.

Cintron's just bein a homey and backin up his fellow Boricua. He nor anybody else can perfectly predict what would happen in PBF v Cotto. He's just one of a billion people with an opinion on the fight.

Again Addison, I agree with you. Some fighters will just beat another fighter everytime. Margarito has Cintron's number. At least in my mind, Margo vs Cintron II was gonna end up exactly like the first one did. They can fight 10 times, and 10 times Margo will knockout Cintron beteen the 4th and 8th round. Even Steward knew it.

Reminds me of Paul Williams and Quintana. Even though is not as clear as Margo/Cintron, in my mind, Quintana will beat William 8 out of 10 times. I just think Quintana has Williams number. I think Williams is making a mistake by looking for the rematch.

I am pretty sure Steward tried to avoid the rematch with Margo, but Cintron's team went ahead anyway. Big mistake.
