Its an art form for some, for some it is brute power and strength while for others it is sheer will and a bit of luck.

Art in the main sense is a product of creative expression...and boxing isn't.
What are you saying when you deftly avoid a punch, or shrewdly deliver one? Nothing, there is no message there besides "I'm good at this, and I want to win".
It's majestic, exciting, and can be practiced with incredible skill; but its not art in the sense that literature, film, painting etc is.
