John Ruiz will clean up the heavyweight division.
When he clinches and hugs all the other fighter's sweat and blood will be soaked up on him so the heavyweight he is fighting will look clean and fresh as a daisy after 12 romantic rounds.

I blame David Tua for screwing up John Ruiz's career. If it wasn't for that devastating KO he would've been an exciting fighter. Thanks to Tua, that prick continues to plague the heavyweight division with such terrible fights.

Anybody happen to have that clip where Holyfield supposedly hits him w/ a low blow in their 2nd fight? Apparently many people thought it was a legal punch and he should've been KO'd.

kinda have to agree with you. ruiz was thought off to be one of the best schooled out of all the prospects. ruiz use to throw a lot of punches too compared to other heavyweights. the ko made him too cautious.

Seriously, Ruiz became soft after that fight. Whenever he fought someone with a pulse he'd resort to the jab and grab technique. Sad for me to say it, but he is the best American heavyweight and probably the only one that actually can win a belt. I'd love to see Wlad KO him though.

Ruiz seems like a good guy but he isn't going to beat Klitschko, not even on an off night.

I always crack him up when Tua is hitting him on the way down.
Like he wanted to make sure Ruiz was dead or something.

Ruiz is not going to beat any the strap holders these days, he's a poor "contender".

Maybe he will, who knows, but one thing I'm sure no one's going to be watching.
