it will be humiliating because this is what Hopkins is nowadays...

lets face it, Hopkins has looked like a joke for couple years now. he has only been winning his fights by fouling constantly, running away and hugging so that his opponents cant hit him, and trying to make his opponent do nothing so that the 3 punches he throws wins him the round.
and Hopkins looked lousy against a Winky Wright moving up 26lbs to fight him, in a fight I thought Hopkins lost anyway, and where both of them looked old.

Hopkins used to be pretty good...about 7 years ago. Calzaghe better be able to beat this version of Hopkins, thats all I have to say. I dont think he will knock out Hopkins...Hopkins is clever, he knows how to protect himself...but if a fat De La Hoya can outwork a closer-to-prime Hopkins and win half of the rounds, then Calzaghe better be able to do it against this old ass Hopkins...

Nothin to be ashamed if he gets decisioned, but if he gets KO'd after all the **** he's been sayin he'll be snackin on humble pie for a year. Same for B-Hop but I don't see him gettin stopped.

Not that humiliating. Fighters talk trash in the run up to fights it's just the way it goes. I for one certainly won't be going anywhere if Calzaghe loses just as I didn't when Hatton lost.

The truth is, Hopkins threw 640 punches 8 months ago against Winky Wright.

Which is almost twice the number of punches he threw in the first Taylor fight 3 years ago. Slowing down.......I'm not so sure.

I wouldnt have thought it would be embarassing as he was a great fighter and deserves a go at Calzaghe. If he was way out of Joe's legue maybe..

I think it would be embarrassing.

Joe is a great fighter. I think he is, most people think he is.

If he gets KO'd unless it was a toes pinned to the floor 'hail Mary' punch then yeah.....it is embarrassing.

Hops is 43 man. He is what he is. And he is 43 even if he is a physical freak.

Joe near enough has everything to lose imo. I'm pretty nervous.

He'll always be my favourite fighter but this fight is his legacy. If he loses he doesn't have one.

Joe Calzaghe has had to endure racist discrimination, jibes against his father and insults against his country.

He never normally ever insults his opponents, but in this instance I understand why he has done it.

Both fighters are old and Hopkins is a truly great champion so Joe will not face any disgrace if he loses.

How is Hopkins going to win with the entire weight of the boxingscene tard brigade balanced on his nuts?

If he loses I'm giving 10 hits of bad karma to everyone that was hating on me for going for Bernard.

Yes! In a 26 year old body, proven by scientists from Nasa!! on the other hand Joe isn't such a young lad and he is clearly at a disadvantage having to fight a 26 year old body with 43 years of experience! Hopkins is a fraud who preys on the old and has beens to build his so important legacy. Shame on Hopkins, shame on boxing.
