12 rounds or 15 rounds?

    Some of those 15 rounders were fought at walking pace, infact, most of them were with the exception of the obvious ones.

    12 is better, the fights are fought at a better pace IMO.

      yep, especially for a fighter like hopkins, who always shows up in condition, it would suit him perfectly to go for the knockout. he is the type that wears his opponents down, going 15 rounds with a a fighter like b-hop is a major test. some other fighter that come to mind are alexis arguello, who could maintain a good pace and come on strong to finish the show. it's all in conditioning.

      plus it's a good way to eliminate unsatisfying close draws with that distance. sure in a 15 round contest boxers fight to a draw as well, but it still eliminates those possibilities by a long way. we'd see more heart, and will put on display

      today's heavies barely go 5 rounds without slowing down significantly. gone are the days when Ali put on a show for 15 rounds, and gave his opponents a boxing lesson.
