He definitely has some physical and mental obstacles to overcome. If he can learn to box better and not rely on one punch so much, and if he can recover from the losses, he should be alright and probably grab a belt.
Kermit Cintron at 154

Yeah he probably would do some damage at 154! He still a good welterweight doe. I mean if you pay realy good attention to the Margarito fight, you will see that everytime that Cintron decided to box a to fight from the outside he actually was beating Margo to the punch. His problem was that he wanted to prove that he could slug with Margo and he got destroyed. You don't go toe to toe with a guy who throws 100+ punches per round and have and Iron chin .Thats a no noI just checked out a thread about Cintron where someone asked if he needed therapy or sumthin to re-establish himself. I thought he should move up and pursue a belt at 154 lbs. There are skilled boxers there that could beat him but no relentless mad dogs like Tony that he absolutely couldn't handle. I don't think he could take Vernon, but there are some guys there he could beat with his power. Cintron can be exciting to watch and with some renewed confidence he might be able to become a top guy at the new weight which don't have a lot of big names right now. I figure he could do some good work as a superwelterweight. Assuming he don't retire, whaddya think about Kermit's chances at 154?Comment

Yes I agree. He should be brought up to 154 and be rebuilt carefully. Cintron's defense and technique need a lot of fine tuning. I'd match against clever boxers who can't hit too hard for some on the job training.Comment
