I was just reading an article about the the fight on sat, and thought if it isnt on PPV how are they getting big money?? Joe must earn decent cash for fighting in wales at the stadium. HAS to be a million quid??? so if it isnt on PPV how is he getting iver 2 million dollors?? or is he?? what is hopkins getting??

The casino and HBO handle the bulk of it I think. In this case the casino spent 8.5 million dollars and HBO spent 6.5 million dollars for this fight.

Yea Joe and Bhop are making I believe 12 million each. A site fee and Hbo both paying for the fight allowed them to air it on regular TV without much of a problem.

12 M $ for eachone. Warren told it and also Schaefer.
Calzaghe made 5M $ for Kessler while Hopkins got 3M for the Tarver and Winky fight. Joe is the bigger draw, and Hopkins is lucky to get a 50/50 split.
