Joe knows he'll never have a following like Hatton has, No British fighter will.......EVER!

Hatton's a one off in that department.

Over 10K ppl from UK will make the trip. This is crazy, the tickets prices are extremly high. Joe is the second biggest draw in boxing after Ricky. Can you imagine 10K yanks flying 2 UK to suppot Mayweather?

Find a spot in the UK tha'ts nice and maybe we would.

People keep going on about Calzaghes first taste of LV but has Hopkins ever been boo`d or jeered like he will on Sat?
Quito, Ecuador. Soldiers with machine guns. Rabid fans booing and throwing things. Nothing compares. This **** is DISNEYLAND.

Not too mention NewYorico for the finale of the tourney and Roberto Clemente Stadium, PR.

I love how these Europeans don't know **** about the man their boy is facing.

This is 2001 all over again. All these fools claiming this and that - "Hopkins looks unsettled". "Bernard looks anxious". Give me a ****ing break. Dude has been there and done that. Taken a few LAPS around this track.

Cat's been stabbed, jailed. Forced to co-habitate with murderes and psycho's at the ripe old age of 18. You REALLY think he can't handle this ****?

Being around a bunch of harmless Brits is supposed to rattle him?

          LMAO. This is funny.

As for your UK not being nice comment, it just shows how childish and ill-informed you are.

I will give Hopkins credit for being street, but if he wasn't a boxer he would be dead or in prison.

The sad thing is, a racist thug like Hopkins is a role model to young people across america.

But now there's people who say Hopkins seems a bit anxious/scared, etc. It's just crazy how different opinions are on this fight. I can't wait until the 19th, because IN MY OPINION...

              IT'S EXECUTION TIME

Nice that you hyped and backing your man but last interview i see of Calzaghe he said all i have to do is turn up to win infact he said it many times.

If anyone is worried it has to be Hopkins why else employ a $3,000,000, dream team?

Proven yourself the ignorant insulting one there. Visited more than 5% of the UK have you?

Basic levels of respect in your own, or in particular another country, help. Try not throwing and stamping on their flag (seen as viciously insulting to a nation in many place across the world). Joe isn't getting much of a hard time in the US because he's not being so dis respectful to the local people, or the fighter, with controversial remarks.

I love how these Europeans don't know **** about the man their boy is facing.
Ironic, that's more widely, even professionally, exactly the criticism of the local fans and media in the US, a la Lacy, the message still hasn't quite got through. Most in the UK know Hopkins is a great fighter, and that this will be Joe's hardest fight. Even the US odds across the board, are in favour of Calzaghe, so your in the minority.[/QUOTE]

Sorry I thought this was a boxing match on Saturday, not a criminal war? Hops may be mega rough and tough, but Joe is too, you don't have to go to jail to get that. It's all in the mind as they say. In any case Joe hasn't had a rosey life, but that's wasted on someone whom broadly criticises the entire UK as somewhere, not nice.

Being around a bunch of harmless Brits is supposed to rattle him?
                  LMAO. This is funny.
He's not used to it, anymore than Joe is used to being the US. But Joe isn't the one mouthing of, ranting for minutes on end at every opportunity, trying to convince people he's in control, not rattled, and will win. Say something so many times over and over, it's a sign your trying to convinced yourself and other people. Joe doesn't feel that need anywhere near as much.

Try a bit of respect and diplomacy, at least chap.

"I was at the Ricky Hatton fight when he fought Oscar" . . . When was that then? IDIOT!! Gonna get done and he knows it!!! He is supposed to be this intelligent fighter but he is in truth a fool who is cautious in the ring and people take that negitivity for smarts! All he talks about is his Jail bird past and in all honesty he has nothing to say!! Same old, same old!!!

In that ring it will not matter at all how he's been stabbed, jailed, lived in the ****** etc. it will be one on one and he is against someone who is not scared of him or someone who is at a natural size disadvantage a (ODHL, Tito, Winky)! face it Hopkins performs when he is against smaller men, if you dont believe me look at other his losses (jones (equal in weight) Taylor x2 (exposed already by Pavlik) and Mitchell on his bedut (who ended up with a great 3-1-1record)! END OF!
