    True, very true. ^

What he says is not true, and if you're an American boxing fan you know that the majority of Americans picked lacy to beat Calzaghe. And yes, ppl over here were swetting his balls they were calling him the next tyson in America.

but lacy has proven he sucks that's the point!!!!manfredo outboxed him!! peter manfredo!! watch the tape
            who did lacy ever beat?

eubank was finished... he had lost his last 2 out of 5 before joe fought him.. to steve collins!!! and lost the next 2 before retiring
it's not like joe stopped a prime eubank who seemed unstoppable.... yet joe's record after 44 fights is so mediocre that it gets mentioned as 1 of his top wins

mikkel kessler still hasn't proven himself to be an a grade fighter... he'sw good but how good? do we really know for sure yet?
i honestly think you have to measure yourself against some american fighters(the best ones) to show how good you really are..

i considered woods a decent fighter but tarver just made him look terrible. and i'm not comparing him to joe but he did have 2 belts...

like i said we'll never know for sure how good calzaghe was because his record won't let us...
a 43yr old hopkins will help somewhat but it won't be enough...

there's too many fighters like cotto and pavlik who are building tremendous records... hell even ricky hatton might do something special...

this hopkins fight is a loose, loose situation...
if he wins then its "oh but hopkins was 43"
if he looses it's "see i told you so"

and if you're not gonna give b hop credit for winky then i guess we can't give calzeghe any credit for b hop seeing as b hop was best at middleweight and joe's a supermiddle for 10 years...

Yes he was a shell of himself. Not because of his age. And he was weight drained and coming back from retirement. Study your history boy. Then maybe you can come back and talk to the big boys. And what are you surprised a gentleman like Eubank has nice things to say about Calzaghe?

He praised Calzaghe in depth, many times. Not just had nice words to say. I have several documentaries which show this.

Hopkins' 4 biggest wins have come after he turned 36. Two of his biggest wins were above SMW and after he turned 40. So Joe might deserve a little credit, though many will try not to give him any.
