Remember how Vivian Harris was supposed to beat Mayweather?

and he got destroyed, and everyone forgot.

Before that it was Kostya Tszyu, and he got destroyed, and everyone forgot.

Then it was Margarito, now its Cotto.

Why can't Floyd-haters stick to one HERO who supposed to destroy Floyd?

I never fought harris, or tzsyu could of beaten floyd, and i cant see cotto or margarito doing it. If floyd is to get beat i would say it would be against vernon forrest, but i never see that happening as forrest has not enougth money, to dangerous tag on.

Alot of people thought that Casa could have beaten Floyd. Idk if it could have happened, but that is one of the match-ups that I really would have liked to see.

This could lead to an interesting poll if someone wants to make it...

Of all the people who were deemed to beat Floyd at one point, which one turned out to be the biggest joke?

Vivian Harris, Juan Lazcano, Acelino Freitas... I think those might be the top 3, although I think Freitas probably would separate himself as better than Harris and Lazcano. Those two would probably be the frontrunners, but hey, that's just my opinion.

frietas is years ahead of Harris and Lazcano but on an interesting note, Floyd always wanted to fight Naseem Hamed, I think Floyd kinda admired his I Don't Give A **** attitude and that fight would have been crazy

I think Floyd admired his drawing power and money-making ability.

Who do you think was worse, Harris at 140 or Lazcano at 135?

It always takes me longer to be sold on power puncher prospects. While they look the best against bums, they usually also fall short of the elite more than most other styles of prospects.

Of the 1996 Olympians, who probably looked more impressive on his way up, Fernando Vargas who KO'd his first 16 opponents, or Floyd Mayweather, who outteched the majority of his early opponents.

              Who looks better now?

I don't think either is bad, just cuz a fighter isnt elite doesnt mean he sucks

Vivian Harris is better then Lazcano but Lazcano has a solid 37-4 record with 27 ko's, won regional titles and a minor world title. His four losses came against world class fighters or early in his career, last 12 with Jose Luis Castillo and Vivian Harris and the only "bum" thing on his resume is that he got knocked out in the third round by GOLDEN JOHNSON! LOL I know the shlong is long but damn.

Harris also wasnt too bad, won the WBA title and beat some of the top contenders in 140 but lost some ko's to Witter and Maussa, truely embarrasssing lol.

So niether are THAT bad, Harris is way better then Lazcano, Juan has a good chin but isnt World class and Hatton should win.

As for as your power punching assessment and Floyd Vargas comparison, skills has nothing to do with it as compared to outside factors. Floyd kept himself and top shape and was always focused while Vargas had a weight problem.

Paul Spadafora out techniqued and outboxed 90 percent of his opponents but he doesnt look better then Vargas, not cuz of style but cuz he had a drinking problem and went to jail.

And for the record 13 of Mayweathers first 16 wins came by way of knockout

Then you should of told Casa not to turn down that 1.5 million that was offered to him.
