Well Vera is very easy to hit and Codrington is an INCREDIBLE puncher. If they fought 100 times, Condrington would knock him out 100 times.

I wouldn't be suprised if Taylor fought Vera he needs a win. Plus that Jeff Wald guy who promotes those Contender fighters somehow gets his fighters fights they don't deserve and oversells them. Vera showed a good chin against Lee, but I think Taylor would blast him out pretty early within the first four rounds.

straight up pointless fight.. just because he exposed lee it dont mean he in the least deserves to fight taylor.. This would be ownage. But ofcourse there using his victory as an excuse to fight vera.. Like he is really a credible opponont.. codrington stopped this kid.

Lee's not ready, and vera is what he is.. decent. I think is fight will be a lot like Cotto Gomez. Not quite as one sided though.

vera shouldnt take this fight, first of all he takes out lee and has a career defining fight at Middleweight, where he has some pop and can take a world class shot.

now hes gonna step back up to supermiddle, where he has always been marginal.... just to get his ass stopped by the ex-middleweight champ.

i say **** it, wait for a shot at the middleweight crown, at least that one vera has a remote chance. hard to pass on the payday i spose.
