he was right about most things except the rule changes. you have to come to a comprimise as a practioner or devoted fan. just like in boxing, devoted fans dont pay the bills. certain changes were needed to elevate MMA to the commerical level it is at now. to allow a fighters to stay idle on the ground for a long time isnt going to help your sales for example. you cant expect a fan who has a small attention span and no patience to understand the full complexity of the ground game. if you want to keep MMA in the spotlight, you have to comprimise unless you dont mind it being another underground sport.

Ed O'Neill is from Youngstown, Ohio.

Married With Children makes a couple of references to Youngstown, probably on Ed's request. They mentioned a store in the town, and also Marcy says "I'd only cheat on Steve with Elvis and Boom Boom Mancini".

I'll forever hold a grudge against the Emmys for never even nominating Ed O'Neill for Best Actor in a Comedy Series. Conservative ****s.

He was brilliant in the role, and had never even done comedy before MWC. He usually had dramatic roles and Broadway plays before MWC.

MWC is one of my favorite shows ever, I remember watching it as a kid and will still watch it now when given the chance.

When The Bone Collector was in the movie theatres, my friend went to see it. He said when they showed Ed O' Neill's name in the opening credits, and the crowd started cheering.

It doesn't matter how many cops he plays. He could play a serial killer or a ******ed ****. He'll forever be Al Bundy.
