Is Cotto at a Disadvantage Against Margarito?

With Cotto's being 5'6-7" in height and Margarito at 5'11", is he at a disadvantage fighting a taller and naturally bigger fighter? Has Cotto ever fought a hard hitting fighter that was naturally bigger than him? This fight is going to be a war and it would not surprise me if someone gets knocked out. I am not going to pick a winner for this one.

Cotto is really as big as Margarito, just built more compactly. Mike Tyson made a pretty good living KO'ing taller guys for a few years. On the highest level, it usually comes down to who is the better fighter.

it would be a disadvantage if Margo fought like he was tall but he's primarily an inside fighter and doesnt utilize much of a jab.

it doesnt matter, this is going to be fight at the inside, so the size and reach advantage wont matter here. btw i think cotto has the advantage, cos his left jab is really something. its more like a straight and if he is able to connect it like he did against mosley and gomez, which i think he will, he is going to have a great advantage against margarito.
well, i just expect a foty candidate here, i think we all do xD

I think Margarito will be the bigger guy come fight time in both height and weight. Margarito rehydrates to 160ish for his fights. I believe Cotto rehydrates to about 155ish. 5lbs is not a small matter.

In terms of physical strength I think Maragrito will have an advantage to, but Cotto IMO will have a power punch advantage but thats hard to quantify with Margarito's good chin.

                Height: Margarito
                Weight: Margarito
Physical strength: I would think edge to Margarito
Power: I would think edge to Cotto (but it's not advisable for Cotto to trade because Margarito's chin is very good).

if anything this would put Cotto at an advantage for low blows...which he tends to hook his fists and follows through with it then WHAP! right in the jugular, but I mean its not like its intentional tho', **** happens...
