    The weight classes I favor are 126, 130, 135, 140,147,154,160,168,175.....

Nothing under 126 and nothing over 175.

The ones who didn't care are probably those in the grave right now.

Probably missed half of boxing this year if I didn't watch it.

I enjoyed the first fight but the second made me mad because Marquez didnt fight smart, so going into the third fight I really didnt care, Im not keen on watching two guys stand in front of one another and just go toe to toe, I like to see more slipping and defense, they do some but still, that is a fight more for casual fans.

You really should add 122. A lot of badasses that you have seen at 126 and 130 had tremendous fights there.

Morales's best work was at 122, including the first fight with Barrera. Incredible. He smoked Junior Jones there too in a pretty good fight.

Jim Lampley called Barrera-McKinney at 122, one of the best back-and-forth fights in the history of boxing.

Vazquez-Marquez III all took place there, and many people have said that those fights were at least on par with the Barrera-Morales trilogy.

I generally don't go lower than that, mostly due to lack of exposure (I'm for damn sure not going to hunt for fights on the internet from weight classes that I know nothing about), but seriously burner, you should add 122. It's a stellar weight class, and generally always has been.

Imagine not having seen great fighters like chiquita gonzalez, michael carbajal, and finito lopez. If you didn't watch these great fighters because they're small you're dumb and I question your boxing fanhood.

122 is where Morales and Barrera made their bones. I really like the division.

Watching HBO is struck me how puny Cotto is. A great fighter but so tiny. What's he like 5'8 155 or something.
Nothing like Jorge Arce or anything but damn is he little.

I think the historical reason for people not watching is that they under the false assumption that these guys can't hit hard.

That's what I'm saying. So many CLASSIC fights have gone down at 126, 122, 118, 115, etc. For some odd reason those guys fight their asses off. In a perfect (boxing) world all fighters would fight like Vazquez and Marquez. Not identical obviously, but displaying that level of skill while engaging their opponent. Not clinching, not slacking off, just intensely boxing.
