Following the smack and allegations from team Miranda this seems like a PR-nightmare. How can Miranda justify blowing a fight with Kessler when it's
    A) for the WBA title,
    B) on the biggest network and
    C) In his hometown???

How can he get a bigger fight? Is he gonna fight Calzaghe, DeLaHoya??? The excuse from Seminole has to be very, very good. Or else ppl would think that the kitten is in fact Miranda!

I hope to see a release soon with the details.
But I am sure Miranda did not sit around the last few weeks after Palle/Kessler were *******s and disappeared leaving Miranda hanging. The ONLY reason he would not take the fight with Kessler is that he must have agreed on another big payday. Unlike Palle, Warriors are honest people, and if they have made a deal (or close to it), they are not going to screw people over and cause long term problems. If I am wrong, then **** Warriors. But I got a funny feeling I am right on!

I can't wait to hear team Mirandas excuse thats for sure.

The way I see this Warriors did the exact same thing as Team Palle. They negotiated a fight with HBO and Kessler AND simultaneously negotiating to another side. It's a double-cross of the same type as Warriors threatened taking Kessler to court with.

How is it even close to the same?
The first time Showtime gave them a date (and even moved it to accomadate Kessler). Palle gave Warriors their demands, and Warriors excepted EVERYTHING to a tee. The contract was sent to Palle and all of a sudden he disappeared. He didnt even have the professionalism to give an excuse.

Now, after weeks of being gone, Palle realizes he screwed up and is now trying to make the fight happen (this time on HBO since Showtime told him to f-off). While they were missing, Miranda found a new dance partner and they are finalizing the deal. Now if Warriors pulled out of this new 'done deal', yea, he would be an ******* like Palle. But instead, they have integrity and are not going to screw anyone over.

          See the difference Batman?

I know Palle was a jerk the first time around. No argument from me there.

But dont tell me that Warriors were not part of the negotiations with HBO. If they were not then ok. I might understand. However if they did negotiate with HBO and Palle the second time, then I cannot see any difference. First time around Palle played 2 horses in Miranda and Mundine. Second time around Warriors played 2 horses in Kessler and some new bigger opponent.

The point is that after all their press-releases they should keep their integrity by only negotiating one fight at a time, and by the looks of it right now they didn't. They might not be any 'cleaner' than Palle after all.

If it looks like a rat and it smells like a rat, then by golly it IS a rat.

Your digging for **** then. I dont see how it in any way shape or form resembles a rat!

Bottom line is that Palle screwed up. He blew his chance. Miranda wasnt gonna wait around. If something as good, better or close came around I am sure he jumped on it. I can tell you that Leon Margulis from Warriros is a very honerable man. If he says something you can live by it. Unfortuantely there are too many scum bags (Palle) in boxing that give it a bad name. Mr Margulis is a class act in a ****ty industry.

I agree that boxing definetely needs more people with class and I hope you are right.

But if Warriors actually did negotiate with 2 partners doesn't it make him as much of a scumbag as Palle?

Batman, I like you. But you really are being stubborn here. Like myself, and most fans, we all want to see this fight happen. But if it does not come about there is nobody to blame but Palle.

When Palle rudely walked away the first time, Warriors/Miranda had no fight. If they found another fight between then and now then good for them. Just because Kessler came back and decided to make the fight attractive does not mean Warriors in any way ever agreed to make the fight happen the 2nd time. I am sure that if whatever Miranda is working on now does not work out, the Kessler fight will happen. But if current negotiaions do work out, well, I guess good for Warriors for sticking to their word. Maybe Miranda vs Kessler will happen later in the year for a vacant belt if Mudine really does decide to vacate.

You know I like and respect you too, and maybe I'm being a bit stubborn, but I just want to see this fight! And if it's for the title I honestly think that whatever fight Miranda has lined up could rightly be abandoned for a titleshot. Anybody can understand that. They might want a small step-aside fee, but thats business.

There will be a fight. If not now then later on. I just want to see them both back in action.

Kessler needs to just get out there and fight again. Miranda needs to stay busy. It makes sense for them to fight but I can tell they don't negotiate well together. There has to be issues where they just don't agree. I heard Kesslers camp wanted to recommend specific WBA officials, which could be a sticky thing for any opposing camp.

If Miranda has someone else lined up, I just hope they are formidable like Kessler.
