    Clinton Woods Considering Retirement

    Following his loss to Antonio Tarver last weekend in Tampa, former light heavyweight champion Clinton Woods told BBC Sport that he will seriously consider the option of retirement. Woods lost a wide unanimous decision, and his IBF title, to a more fluid Tarver. [details]

    i think he should, there is nothing else he can do at light heavy.

      I havenn't seen the fight but if he can't get up for an occasion like that then he should just retire, obvious his heart aint in it.

          Poor lad, I hope he's got enough money to keep him happy. He didn't deserve to lose like that, he's a lot better than he showed.

            It was a very disappointing effort from Woods for such a big match. After hearing his pathetic post fight comments, he should retire.

                    Pipe down son I've already said I aint seen it.

                    Regardless the score card indicates to me either a lack of effort, or a gulf in class.

                    The skinny boy from Sheffield sounded pathetic though, prior to the fight in the Saturday's sun there was a interesting story about him fighting bouncers, and he sounded quite bad ass. He has of course undone that work though.
