You act like Tarver can't box

Thats what I was thinking.....Tarver seems to recieve a lot of unexplainable hate on this board...To top it off Kessler has yet to fight at light heavy weight. Some posters needs to stop living in fantasy world. I got Tarver by UD.

Kessler is a much better fighter than anybody at 175 right now...Kessler is too fast, accurate and powerful for Tarver...Kessler by late TKO.

Based on what assumption? Tarver has never been ko'ed.
And he's beaten better guys than Kessler.

Tarver isn't Librado Andrade. And he's a southpaw. Something Kessler hasn't shown me can deal with.

I just don't understand the walkover theories.

Look at Tarver's resume, look at Kessler's.

Tarver would get creamed. It's one thing to stick your chin out against Clinton Woods, quite another to do it to a guy who can throw straight punches.

Tarver barely has any fight left in him. Kessler would murder him. Badly.

Tarver has beaten Reggie Johnson, Eric Harding, Glen Johnson, Roy Jones, Montell Griffen at light heavyweight.

Who's Kessler beat again at light heavy?

Tarver may be old, but he's proven in the division.

Tarver has looked very, very slow in the last few fights. He has had no pop on his punches at all and looks to have gased out about halfway through the fight with Woods, even though Woods did nothing the whole fight and his defense has been slipping. He is too far past it beat a young, active, strong fighter like Kessler. Kessler hurts him bad in the fight if it happens. If I had very many points I would bet them all on it.

Tarver is aging sure, but let's see Kessler in his comeback fight before calling him light heavy king for now.

Kessler hasn't fought at light heavy period. Hell, he hasn't fought since Cal beat him.
I'd have to see him after he lost to make an accurate judgement.

Tarver's problem is consistency, you don't know which Tarver will show up.

Will it be the Tarver that got embarrassed by Hopkins and given a hard fight by Muriqui or will it be the Tarver who has done the work and can box for a full 12 ala the Woods fight.

Librado Andrade could beat the Tarver of today.
