    Joe Vs Hopkins

Lets get real just for a minute!! Does Hopkins really have a chance against the mighty Joe Calzaghe?

I can't predict the future, but I'd say yeah, of course he has a chance. Joe is '#1 as far as I'm concerned, but you can't count Hopkins out. He is a dangerous man, even at 43.

I learned a long time ago never to bet against Joe Calzaghe, but you never know what you'll get -- he could wipe the floor with Hopkins and make it look effortless, or he could struggle and manage to pull out a tight decision. We'll have to wait and see.

Everything points to a Calzaghe win, recent record, match of styles and skills etc. I would be amazed if Hopkins can beat him.

But as FRKO says, there is always a chance, Hopkins is an elite fighter and its possible something could go wrong for Joe.

Possible but not likely, I still say a pretty easy Calzaghe win by UD.

I would agree with you. Joe is gonna be on point, super-sharp, and more powerful than before.

Anyone has a chance in a fight. But Calzaghe or his fans have nothing to brag about if he beats a 43 year old man. Lose-lose situation.

Of course the UK dudes have a right to brag, beating Hopkins is a big deal. If he hadn't beaten anyone of significance for a number of years then you may have had a point, however, Hopkins is still performing like he's in his 20's and he is considered a living legend by many. To wipe Hopkins out would be Joe's biggest win yet.
