Im happy the ringside physician stopped the fight because Gomez's pride would have gotten him seriously hurt. You have to give it to him for keeping on fighting even though he was throughly getting his ass kicked. That fight was like a good NFL team facing a college team. You know the college team would try their hearts out, but the talent of the NFL team would be just too much.

I totally agree, at the end of the 3rd round Gomez clearly SLIPPED ontop Cotto's left hand and they called it a knockdown.

No warning for hitting to the front of the head or illegal disconfiguration of an opponents face.

Even with all that Cotto was in trouble because Gomez was starting to get his second wind.

LOL, so much for "Gomez has a look in his eye" and "Gomez is determined and going to upset Cotto".

The real winner that fight was the producers of Gomez's webisodes. They really did some amazing ****, I think they used to work for the Iraqi foreign ministers office when he said "No American tank is within 500miles of Baghad and there was an Abrahams tank right behind him."

Gomez has a huge heart. But he did get outgunned by the better fighter. Somtimes it doesnt matter how hard you train. Give him anouther year or so to rebuild and I am sure he will be in the mix. He just wasnt ready for this fight.

LMAO, Gomez was only robbed of his dignity. Why the HELL did this guy even get into the ring with Cotto? Poor guy, I feel terrible for him. I feel worse for Gomez than I did when Codrington got KTFO by Green and when Banks got KTFO by Miranda. Oh well, maybe he should fight Collazzo.
