I back up my posts with facts. Where's yours? From what i've read, Floyd dismissed Cotto as "still green" at 140 when talks of a fight were presented. Even uncle Roger said that Cotto would be Floyd's biggest challenge at 140. The list of excuses just continues.

    -Who's Miguel Cotto
    -Cotto's too green
-He doesnt bring anything to the table
    -Im not impressed with him
-His HBO ratings against Gomez were low
-Cotto needs to become a CEO before i consider fighting him
-Cotto needs to establish his own fanbase (whatever the hell that means)
-Cotto needs to be on the level of a Floyd Mayweather before i fight him
-I wont do business with Arum because he's a grumpy old man
    -Im retired
-Im focusing on being a promoter right now
-I have nothing else to prove in the sport, i've done what i had to do
-He know's that i'll beat him
    -He wont get past Mosley
    -He wont get past Judah
-Fan: "When will u fight Cotto". Floyd: "next question"

He didn't "um" over anything. He just told it like it is - he's on hiatus for a while. He'd earned himself a 'lil break.

But you know he's coming back for Oscar II and beyond. Like fighters always reveal all they future strategies and plans in post-fight chit-chats? Get a grip.

          BE REAL.

Floyd's primary objective was always the De La Hoya fight. Those comments were attributed to Floyd *after* the Oscar fight, and he can still achieve them. Starting with the winner of Cotto/Marg.
What kind of bull**** is that, was it on the contract no. DLH wanted the fight just as bad as Floyd did, it wouldn't have mattered which belt he brought to the table. Face it, Floyd saw an opportunity and he took it, he took the ***** way out. He blatantly ducked Margarito, took less money and fought basically the luckiest bum in the history of the sport.

                  LMAO

                  I have a copy, but I don't remember Money's post-fight comments.

                  @ Deevel79
Floyd already told a fan from this board that he intends to fight Cotto if Miguel stays unbeaten.

"At 147 pounds, the welterweight division, to me, it's the hottest division in boxing today," Cotto
said. "Margarito, Mayweather, Hatton, Kermit Cintron, Paul Williams and me. It could be three years of great boxing."

"I just want the big fights, the big names, the real fights. I wish the rest of the opponents want
                    the same."

Press Photo/Cory OlsenMiguel Cotto, left, shares a laugh with promoter Bob Arum at MGM Grand on Saturday. LAS VEGAS -- Five years have passed and the grudge endures. Miguel Cotto's only response -- keep winning -- resounds with the boxing...

I remember this. I also remember how scared Floyd was because Tony was walking around like a shark and was looking to feed on some ***** boy named Floyd. I have to hand it to Arum and Tony who made Floyd's little ***** rich punk ass life a living nightmare.
