How come Manny kept tellin Cintron to go forward???

Seems to me the only success he had is when he created some distance from Margarito, jabbed, and was able to land some combo's from a distance. WTF was Manny thinkin tellin him to go forward? Obviously Margo's the much, much better inside fighter, so I didn't understand the game plane of fighting inside with him. It was suicide.

I'm not sayin Cintron could have beat him from the outside either, but I'm sayin it seemed to me he had a much better shot on out-boxing him.

Steward shouldnt have given advice like that to cintron.

it wasnt just when cintron was on the outside...

this is what i noticed...

when there was space margarito would get inside on him right?

well what margarito failed to do is come in behind the jab and cintron would get off on him on his way in (and out usually).

so what cintron should have done (and been instructed to do) was jab to keep margarito away...then allow him to come in...on his way in tag him with a quick jab or quick combo and get away from him and allow him to come back in...tag him on the way in...get out of the way.

thats when cintron was looking the best...

but instead manny told him to just fight inside and he was just getting beat down on the inside...

he should an been told to tag margarito as he comes in and get back out.

if he did this cintron had a chance to win a decision (i believe) but he only did this 2 or 3 times a round and the rest of the time he was content with fighting on the inside...

the fight would have been much closer had he tagged margarito coming in and got back out of the way...
