Glen Johnson Did NOT Beat Chad Dawson

Wow looking at the fight a again I have Johnson winning now by a round or two, Glen was catching everything with his gloves and arms, the onl thing that really landed form Chad was the body shots.

How didn't you notice that the first time around? Oh, yeah if you had him winning by 2 rounds more like me then ppl shouldn't be laughing at my 8-4 scorecard

Its like I said in another thread, Dawson won more rounds and thats why he won. But Dawson took WAY more damage and got beat up more. But we don't go on who's ass got kicked, we go by rounds and Dawson won more rounds. A round that Dawson barely wins counts the same as the round where he almost got KTFO. Its the way it goes. Some people don't understand this.

It happens man, thats why when you look at fights over and over you can get a different scorecard. Dawson like many fast punchers can get you confused because his punches are flashy and you don really pay attention to what their hitting, Johnson was catching everything. So sometimes I cant hate on the judges for missing something live. Watching HBO I thought Winky edged Hop, but watching on Sky Sports, I had Hop by two or three rounds, they used totally different camera angles than HBO did, made a world of difference. So since all three judges never see the same thing, since they are in different positions, I can understand how they can have contrasting cards, plus they are looking upwards, not like we are at home watching on tv.

hell no... Dawson won a close fight.. the scorecards probably could've been tighter but the right fighter won.. you don't win a "boxing" match by simply being aggressive for 12 rounds.. he put up an amazing effort for his age but Glen Johnson's story, age, and style of fighting is "fan friendly", which is why the live crowd and many of you here are so convinced he won.. period

truth is, Chad showed serious boxing skills and beat the tough journeyman..

Yea, thats what I thought, watch the fight again and watch where 90% of Chad's punches end up. On Johnson's gloves and arms.

He's biased his opinon won't change even if he re-watches it or he'll lie on here and just say he did rewatch the fight.

I scored the first round 10-10, could have given that to Dawson if you like. The next five I gave to Glen. Rounds 7, 8, and 9, Glen slept basically and those are the rounds Chad used his legs more and boxed like his trainer was telling him too.
