I still don't why some of you guys are still bitching about the decision. It was a close fight that could of went either way, it just happened to be in Dawson's favor. Look it, Dawson can't rematch Johnson right away because he would have to give up his WBC belt. And as badly as Johnson wants a rematch, he's not going to fight Dawson again unless he's holding the WBC belt. If Adrian Diaconu wasn't the interim WBC winner than their would be an immediate rematch between Dawson and Johnson. This is the scenario thats most likely going to happen. Dawson will forfeit his WBC title to fight Tarver for the IBF title. Glen Johnson will fight Adrian Diaconu for the WBC title. The winner of those matches will than face each other next year. So if Dawson beats Tarver and Johnson beats Diaconu than there will be a Dawson-Johnson II, which should quiet some of you guys who are still bitching about a rematch and the decision.

I actually wasnt bitchin and I actually am upset that Johnson gets all the crazy for wobbling Dawson and Dawson gets no credit for not going down.I still don't why some of you guys are still bitching about the decision. Johnson hardly wobbled Dawson, Dawson wasn't even close to being KO'ed. Johnson landed some hard shots, but it didn't happen frequently, only in rounds 3, 4, and 10. As for Tarver, Dawson will beat him and prove why he's the future of this division.Comment

Dawson is a good fighter, just not as great as some made him out to be (at this point of his career atleast, he is just 25 years old).
Not many aside from Glen Johnson and a few others will give Dawson that kind of trouble at LHW. He schooled Adamek who just defeated O'Neil Bell at CW and survived Johnson.
Few young fighters would've stood up to the kind of beating he took in that fight, watch Brian Vera vs Andy Lee for example.Comment

He was not knocked down and in my opinion he showed a pretty good jaw. Johnson is not a knockout artist, but Dawson showed that he can take a good shot from a hard puncher and he was being caught on the button by some very hard punches. Roy Jones also had a glass jaw when he was in his peak, he just was able to hid it with his reflexes and hand speed that would make his opponents respect him. Once Dawson starts to box the way he use to and tighten up his defense, then he will answer all of the critics and show that he is the best at 175.Comment

man Dawson took HUGE punches in rounds 3,4,9,10,11,12... i don't know what you're talking about Dawson was taking FLUSH BOMBS all night and having his body worked all night... it's just that Johnson isn't a huge puncher. For almost every round i would of rather of been Glen Johnson than Chad Dawson because he definetely took much more damage and ate up the much cleaner shots. Props to him for not going down and staying focused.Comment

You're also forgetting that Dawson landed some hardy body shots, more so than Johnson. Johnson didn't continuously land flush bombs, clean shots yes, but not flush bombs.man Dawson took HUGE punches in rounds 3,4,9,10,11,12... i don't know what you're talking about Dawson was taking FLUSH BOMBS all night and having his body worked all night... it's just that Johnson isn't a huge puncher. haha i may have exaggerated a bit but still you have to admit we saw way more flush punches from johnson than Dawson but Dawson landed more less telling blows landing on the gloves but most were obviously counted. Johnson was landing the cleaner harder shots all night and thats not arguable... the judges just preferred Dawson's style more. Still though Johnson's stock only went up and Im still confident that he will win another big fight before the end of his career. As for Dawson.. well i actually Dawson a lot and props to him for showing such heart in that fight nobody really mentions that much. He's a very exciting fighter and ill be interested to see his next fights but i just hope he rematches johnson soon the man deserves it.Comment
