So... HOW did HBO's COMMENTATORS do last NIGHT???

Were they enthused and excited during the main event or were they disgusted and bored because of the mismatch?

What about for the Cintron-Marg fight?

And i heard Manny Steward was smiling on camera after his man got KOed???

So how was their overall performance?

They did ok. Its clear Larry Merchant dislikes Floyd for sure. Then again Floyd dogged Larry after the Baldomir fight.

If they would ever get over their obsession with Floyd Mayweather they would be better. How many times did his name come out of their mouth last night?

The commentary was ok. The biggest observation on the commentary wasn't what they were sayin, it's that Steward was even down there 3 minutes after another one of his fighters got the livin **** beat outta him. He was respectful enough to give Tony props on his performance without makin excuses, but couldn't he have done that after he spent some recovery time with his KO'd champion?

I personally enjoy watching the fights with the sound off about 50% of the time.
That seems to be the most enjoyable viewing experience overall.

Mostly they were concerned about Gomez. They were critical of Gomez balance and his power but in a comisserating kind of way.
