They speak as if they themselves are Floyd Mayweather.

Boardwalk doesn't hold a lot anyway. Just under 10,000 for a fight against a Contender retread is good for that place.

Hell, Mayweather couldn't sell out a fight against Baldomir, a guy that had a belt and had just come off wins against Judah and Gatti.

All this talk that Mayweather shouldn't fight Cotto because "he's not a star" is nonsense.

A fight with Cotto will sell enough to make it a viable fight for Mayweather.

It's also the only fight out there for Mayweather right now that means anything in the big scheme of things.

I really don't understand the thinking of some Mayweather fans. Yes, I think he's the best boxer in the world today. But why wouldn't you want to see him fight the best?
