    No Suprises Tonight!

Margarito stopped Cintrion, as expected, Tony put on a great preformance and showed a hell of a chin.
Cotto dominated ya boy from the Contender with ease, and him vs Margarito should be a barnburner.
As long as Floyd fights the winner, all is good in welterweight land,

everyone said that the Tarver/Woods match-up would be close and boring but it was the opposite. It was Tarver who got the clear lead and it was entertaining even as the crowd wasn't all that into it in the early rounds

No suprises? Tarver basically dominated Woods. I know Tarver doesn't have too many fanboys here, but I don't remember seeing anyone pick him, not that I was paying attention..

No surprises as far as I'm concerned, considering I had an accumulater bet on Tarver to win on points, Cotto by KO/TKO, Margarito by KO/TKO and Dawson on points. Shame I only put £3 (about $5.50) on the results. I shall still pocket some nice cash though! Not sure how much, but I'll find that out later when I collect.

The only surprise was the manner in which Tarver won. I knew Woods didn't have the class to win convincingly nor the home crowd advantage to convert the judges in a close fight, but I figured he'd have more fight in him than last night showed. I wasn't a fan and I now never will be. At least he stuck to my script though!

Tarver beating Woods easily was a surprise.

This is the first time Tarver has beaten a world-class LHW on the first try in years.

Since when has Clinton Woods been world class? He is (was) a good boxer who has achieved a lot considering he has never had exceptional ability.

He's one of the best in the world at light-heavyweight. That's what I meant.

Agreed, although Woods didnt look game at all. Overall I was very impressed with Tarver, Dawson, and Johnson. Johnson is an old bull, I didnt think he'd be able to put up that kind of performance against a top guy again. And Dawson has incredible heart, just suspect defense. They put up a hell of a fight.

I was referring to the HBO, as you can see by reading my post.
