Roy Jones? Is it time for him to put up or shut up

I have been a big Roy Jones fan since his amateur days and im rarely negative about him. Matter fact im never negative about Roy.

But before the Tarver vs Woods fight he was making points about badly wanting to fight the winner. It seemed like he prefered the Clinton Woods matchup. Maybe because he felt he matched up better with Woods style considering he beat him in 2002.

Roy had better take on this challenge and get his revenge against Tarver. Do not back out of wanting to fight the winner and end up fighting someone else. Tarver is the champ. You said you want the 175 pound title again.

If Roy is all the way back like he says he is,he should not have any problems taking on Tarver who is a difficult matchup for him. Part of being great is taking on the toughest challenges, and not just looking for guys you matchup well against.

The reason why he doesnt want tarver SO much, ASIDE from the obvious of tarver being tough, is because theyve already fought 3 times... there would be NO money in a 4th fight... nobody wants to see it

A lot of Woods countrymen would def. love to see the rematch with Roy...

Roy has earned himself the right to fight another fight...

Badi was a prospect, roy didnt look GREAT

Hanhsaw was a contender, young, undefeated... Roy looked better

Tito, still a contender at this weight, better than hanshaw IMO... and Roy looked even better... if nothing else... he is deserving of yet another fight

I am a big Roy Jones fan but I honestly think he should have retired 5 years ago.

hE SHOULD of retired after the first Tarver fight... but I think its a sign of a true champion... not wanting to give up.. .not wanting to go out on the bottom...

Its easy for us to say all this... but actually be in his position, its easy to understand where he comes from...

I think he should fight Johnson, it would be a crossroads fight. Whoever loses should retire, add the revenge factor into the mix and it could make some good money.
