    My Take on Cotto-Gomez, Margarito-Cintron, Dawson-Johnson, Woods-Tarver

    Cintron-Margarito

This is pretty much what I figured what it would be... Cintron being the slightly more technically skilled boxer... but that not mattering because of the chin difference. You can hit Margarito with a 2x4 and it doesnt seem to make a difference, however every punch landed on Cintron seemed to definitely effect him. I think that was ultimately the reason of the outcome.

    Woods-Tarver

Like I said before, it all depends on the Tarver that shows up... The Tarver that fought Roy whoops Woods... The Tarver that fought Hopkins, gets whooped... Fortunately for Tarver, the better of the two showed up tonight... This was the night of the 39 year olds... Good fight for tarver.

    Cotto Gomez

I would say, Cotto did exactly what I thought he would do, but that Gomez did not... I thought Gomez was better than he showed tonight... but apparently not... Cotto has continued to impress, regardless of competition... his toughest fight to date is yet to come in July IMO... Goodluck to Cotto

    Dawson-Johnson

I wont talk to much about controversy of outcome, but it was a great fight. Dawson showed a lot of heart, and Glen impressed with not letting age become a factor in how he fights.

With that said, I thought Glen deserved the nod, and don't ever talk about Chad Dawson having questionably the same skill that Prime Roy Jones Jr. Had... Ive heard that way to much, after this fight... don't ever mention it again... If someone keeps hitting you with a jab to the left side of your face... guess what you should do? HOLD YOUR RIGHT HAND UP... if your the taller longer reach fighter, guess what you should do? BOX and dont get ****** into a toe to toe battle... If your 25 years old and the undefeated champion of the world, guess what?! you should NOT be showing signs of fatigue in the 3rd to 4th rounds, against someone nearly 40... this is basic ****.

Lucky for Chad hes only 25 with plenty of time to learn from his experience... for Glen, hope he gets the rematch.

Nonetheless, Boxing has entertained me, for yet another Saturday.

Yeah I always liked Johnson but man tonight he really impressed me even after the fight in his interview. I really think he pulled it out, but would have been ok with a draw.

Yeah, I am really really really liking Glenn Johnson. I lamented RJJ's loss to him but loved Johnson's quote at the end of that fight....

Larry Merchant: So do you see yourself as the best or one of the best LHW's in the division right now?

Johnson: No, I'm just a man willing to fight the best.

One of my favorite boxing quotes. He has great heart and has one of the most impressive resume's for active fighters.

Yeah but being inconsistent doesnt mean you cant beat someone...

The Tarver tonight, beats the Dawson tonight...

Dawson got fatigued in the 3rd round, it was unheard of... couldnt believe it...

Tarver showed his old self tonight... and Tarvers old self is a problem for anyone.

I think tarvers motivation is not being called a "15 minute fame fighter".

The same way I felt.. I went into the 12 round with the mind set of "This is anyones fight"... with that said I thought Glen pulled it out... I would of been satisfied with a Draw as well...

fact:dawson is undefeated fact:tarver best days are behind him
its just plain and basic common sense to say that the favorite is dawson
i would love to see dawson lose but its too unlikely
