I like Tarver and I respect what he's done, but no way is he the greatest light-heavyweight champion. He's a guy who loses fights he's supposed to win and wins fights he's supposed to lose.
I picked him to beat Harding, Jones, Johnson and Hopkins.
And then I picked against him in the rematches, save for Hopkins whom he never fought again.
All credit has to be given to Hopkins for beating Tarver so one-sidedly, at his advanced age he gave Tarver a resounding beating. More comprehensive than even Harding was able to give him.Comment
