Its not worth spending the time arguing about. Most MMA fighters have 0 technique and even if they do throw it out the window and just wail on each other. Not saying all boxers have great technique though..

There's no need to prove anything, different sports.

Both MMA and boxing have talented athletes.
Boxing might have the edge because it has been around longer and there's more money in it but MMA has its fair share of talented fighters as well.
