If its broke how do you fix it?

I broke my ankle, and ripped ligaments in my leg, was in plaster for 3 months, didnt get physio cos i was in a public hospital so there idea of physio was walk about and you should be ok. I now have one really skinny leg and ankle, and it is also weak. I am geting ready to go bk to the gym for the next amature season in august. Any ideas how to get this leg bk to the same size as my other one, which is now even bigger cos alls i done was hop round on it. Any one else had the same injury? any advice? thanks guys.

my best bet is if now ur able to walk with ur weak leg u should go to a fitness gym and use their leg machines to get that one leg back in shape

Just rehab it. It'll take a lot of work, but it'll get back to normal.

Didn't break any bones but I tore ligaments in my ankle but it was during wrestling season so I was insured and had a hot pysical therapist that was like 3-5 years older than me.

Well it was a lot of increasing angle of movement, stretching and later resistance training.....shirts/towel then elastic bands. Also did some light weight stuff.

It was never quite the same though, could tighten up at times and had chronic "light" sprains for the rest of my career.
