I think it's just the way people sell fights. Perfect example was Hatton-Mayweather. Good versus evil, humble versus ****y.

I don't think it speaks to them as people unless you know them personally or some **** like that.

I don't see Hatton as humble, not humble at all. Even less with Calzaghe. Woods does seem like a normal guy who's got to listen to Tarver mouthing off.

They sell fights differently. That's my point. And that's all it is.
I don't think it's a typical American or British thing as far as personalities.

Cuz then we get into stereotyping and that's for people who don't want to understand their world so they just throw whole nations into categories so they won't be confused or forced to understand the many gray areas in life.

Yep, that's an American stereotype, but a lot of us are good people.
For every Hopkins there's two guys that are alright in public.

I love listening to Tarver. I mean, how can you not like a figther who told Woods how pretty he looked. ****ing classic.
