How is he more of a threat than Cotto who could'nt even handle an old washed up Mosley? What significance would fighting Cotto have if Mayweather already won the fight?

So he won the fight without fighting it? U most think WWE is real too.

1. Mosley still is better than DLH, Cotto defeated Mosley and a prime DLH couldn't do it and he try twice!!!!

2. Floyd against DLH= Split Desicion for Floyd while Cotto/Mosley =Unanimous Desicion win for Cotto

3.Cotto is 8 years younger than DLH

4.Unlike DLH, Cotto is on his prime!

5. Nobody have defeated Cotto!!!

6.Cotto is actively fighting 3 time a year!!!

7.Cotto is southpaw with and orthodox stance and he switch it up between rounds!

8. Styles make fights and while Floyd might have the best elusive style, Cotto is good presure fighter that stalk you and cuts the ring.

9. Cotto have enough power on his hands to KO floyd (more Power than floyd if he decides to stop running and trade punches)

I think your're overating Cotto a bit too much here. He is good but IMO isn't better then Floyd. You're comparing Floyd's 130 resume with Cotto's 147 which doesn't seem right. Mosley gave Cotto the fight of his life and IMO was sloppy against Mosley, and he was clearly tired out in the later rounds. The strategy that won Cotto the Mosley fight was his jab. Without it I would say Mosley would get the win from the judges. He was also cut in the same place Judah caught him from inside his mouth. If he were to fight Mayweather, he would have to fiind a better strategy

Mosley's still the 3rd best welterweight. Cotto couldn't handle Floyd. Too much skill. Floyd can beat Cotto anywhere in the ring and can adapt to anything Cotto shows him. Floyd is much more accurate than Shane and his stamina will still be there in the later rounds.

He has great stamina but going toe-to-toe with Miguel helped Cotto sort of break him down. His punch output seemed to drop late in the fight. Cotto wouldn't have been able to outbox Shane early on. I think Shane got tired or was feeling those body punches from earlier.

Nope, I don't think thats right because it was Cotto who tired out early. If you actually watch that fight, you'll see Mosley really was putting pressure on Cotto near the end of the fight, Cotto has a slight edge because of his jab, but Mosley was answering back to almost every Cotto punch that's why they both landed exactly the same amount of landed punches. Mosley threw more which shows how quickly Cotto tired out. But he wasn't landing effective punches on Cotto which was a determining factor
