Is Tito still an elite fighter?

Has he lost the goods or can he still be a world class fighter, and compete with the best AT HIS weight level.welterweight/super welterweight.

if he stayed active after the hopkins loss he would still be solid. he missed out on a lot. rematch with oscar and fights with mosley , taylor , forrest......

winnable fights if you ask me except maybe with oscar.

          Absolutely not.

All Tito is now is a big name draw and that is it.

He is a half-step above terrible.

Age and trying to move up 50 weight classes are the culprits.

Tito had a great career but his time is just about done...

he's past his prime (easily) and he has maybe a year or two (at best) of fights left where he will recieve the ppv treatment.

all tito is now is a name.

Im sure thats what taylor's interest in fighting him is...a name and a payday.

he looked pretty decent against roy jones jr but then again roy jones jr is out of his prime too...and roy easily won the fight on my scorecard...

but if you put tito in with a young fighter like a pavlik or a taylor then he's just going to lose.

in his prime would be another story; he'd do great things.

He's fighting much bigger men. If he decides, like Mayorga, to step down in weight, he can be elite, because of his punching power. But, as it is, he's going to get seriously hurt, worse than Benítez.

He should be retrired for good, don't see him as an eilte anymore. Time to move along before he puts more losses on his record. Cotto-Mayorga is an end to his regin.
