Banned from a boxing forum?

I got banned from east side boxing cuz I said Ali was better than Joe Louis.

I was just in a thread talking about other boxing sites and forums and it got me to thinking. I'm new to boxingscene.com and I started going on here this month after I was banned from E**TS*D*boxing.com. The reason I got banned from there was very funny to me. A lot of guys come into forums to insult people and troll but never get banned. I got banned for a joke. Anyone ever get banned or warned in a forum for something funny that they want to talk about?

Here's mine.

First time I got banned from E**TS*DEboxing was when I got into an argument with some guy who was trying to compare 1964 Muhammad Ali to the 2008 David Haye with a thread called Ali 1964 vs. Haye 2008. I got annoyed and as a joke posted a new thread "Ali at the age of 64 vs. Haye at the age of 28". It was a funny thread and everybody was laughing their ass off until the thread was closed and I got banned temporarily.

Second time I got banned was for having a picture of juan manuel marquez laying in bed with his japanese "conditioning coach".

Anybody want to share something funny about how they got banned or warned for or maybe a thread that was funny that go closed real quick?

I too got banned from ESB, twice. I do not know why the first time, I was prominent poster with twice as many posts as I have on this site. Second time around was however over a religious debate. Which I found hypocritical because posters there made a thread every day bashing religion (Christianity in particular) and were not afflicted with any punishment.

I enjoy this site however ESB probably had the highest output of threads to post ratio out of any boxing forum out there. In turn though most of the threads were spam. Long live Boxingscene.

yeah i don't like it when it gets religious or racial in a BOXING forum......

es has a lot of member but you're right about the duplicitous nature of the threads i saw 10 marquez was robbed and 10 manny is the best threads posted in a span of an hour i swear.

kinda taxing going over so many spam threads and missing the ones that were substantive.

Funny you say that. That's the reason they hate BoxingScene so much. The owner of this site was being stalked, and still is, by the owner of ****side. He sent him all kinds of racial emails over the years and bashed the catholic religion in a few of them. At first he thought the owner here was Puerto Rican and sent several emails that went way over the line.

I got ban from boxing..........bantr by the owner for predicting hatton would be KO by Mayweather, He argued with my opinion but we all saw what happen...The guys name is Martin and he is the worst person to talk boxing with when it comes to Hatton( Who he loves) and Mayweather ( Who he hates ).
