Santana Rises To Win, DeLeon Stop McGirt Jr.

Live from the Miccosukee Resort in Miami, Florida, 23-year old Junior Welterweight Josesito Lopez (22-3, 13 KO) of Riverside, California suffered the toughest kind of loss as Puerto Rican veteran Edgar Santana (24-3, 15 KO) rose from two knockdowns to steal victory from the jaws of defeat. The bout ended with fans on their feet. [details]

Overall, the cards were a little more than decent. They started off slow and sloppy on both cards. They picked up after the second half and the fights went back and forth and were very entertaining. I was actually very surprised at the scored cards with Santana/Lopez. Lopez caught Santana 2 times with body shots making Santana take 2 knees making it a 10/7 round but was still able to pull it out by 2 points on 2 of the judges scorecards. I think it was Lopez's holding that may have influenced the judging but i think he did enough to win it by a point. anyway, good fights!

Mcgirt the trainer has been walking under ladders or something. All his fighters are losing!

Good fights tonight. Lopez vs Santana was great.

figures you'd feel that way cause you swing with your "compadres" lopes won that rd 10-7, and may have won another rd. but Santana beat the riversider easy, the judges scored close cause Santana is going nowhere and lopes still can make something of himself.. but this fight, lopes lost no question!!!!!

Lopez had no balance his feet were everywhere, did he ever get comfortable during the fight b/c I don't think so, or he just has no balance, sometimes he looked drunk out there!!!!
