My dad was shocked when I told him Valuev was actually a professional fighter with experience. He thought they found some ogre in the back woods of Russia. he was probably right.

The funniest thing is the brought him over to London, england but frank maloney thought people would find it hard to take him seriously, He was named the Beast from the east by Maloney but he had to let him go in the end when everybody was staring at him on the street of london.

He was signed up in germany and assigned a trainer to look after him.
