It was a close fight IMO, the first few rounds could have gone either way... Eighth round could have killed Santana, but Lopez did NOTHING in the last two rounds and almost looked out on his feet... You have to give Santana credit for showing a lot of heart.. He got back up swinging and thats what won him the fight...

Lopez blew it, I was rooting for him but Santana won me over with his heart and never say die attitude. It was a close fight that could have been a draw or gone either way but I think Santana showed he wanted it more and gave it his all.

Lopez is still young he should learn from this, he needs to work on his defense and not pull straight back with the ear muffs on.

lol That's the least of his problems, the dude cannot for the life himself, duck a right hand.

Santana would just load a right hand up, and you knew it was coming every, single, timeee..lol And Lopez just took it.

I know it's easier for us to see on the outside, but you'd think Lopez would get wise and adjust. I swear to god though, fighters like him and Miguel Huerta are frustrating to watch. They got everything you could need in this sport, and the things that kill em are those "attention to details" type a ****.

Lopez had what? 3 losses on his record, now 4? I think that's a sign whatever his flaws are, he's not gonna change em anytime soon.

And just for the record, he lost. He definantly shined brighter then his opponent though. His shots weren't loaded up, they were crisp and accurate, he just ate too much from a heavy handed guy.

Lopez showed no defense what so ever, showed no sign of bein able to adjust. His opponent looked like he was losing in his face every time he ate somthin clean from Lopez, his face was all sad looking, Santana didnt even switch anything up, lol he just kept loadin up that right hand. He even went down twice, by body shots of all things. And Lopez let Santana get back into the fight, and Santana didn't even really have to try. He just threw that right hand hopin it would land, and it did, lol every single time.

Hopefully the next time we see Lopez he'll show more craft.
