If Hopkins beats Calzaghe, and then rematches and beats Roy Jones, he would go down as the best boxer who ever lived that was named Bernard.

If Calzaghe beats Hopkins, all he did was beat a blown up middleweight

This probably isn't true. Anyone with a small amount of boxing knowledge should know that Joe Calzaghe's natural weight is 196 pounds (14 stones). He's about an inch or so shorter in height than Bernard but Calzaghe is naturally closer to cruiserweight, hence the starvation diet to make super middle all these years. He could (and will) benefit from at least 7 extra pounds behind his punches.

If, somehow, Joe is defeated and anyone says Joe was too small, they are talking complete horse ****. This is not Oscar De La Hoya, the guy who started his pro career at 134, nor is it Trinidad who was semi-useless above 154 and fought many of his fights as a welterweight, it's a big super middleweight (who has fought at light heavy as far back as 1994) moving up to a more comfortable weight class where his body need not be starved and punished so much as it usually is when trying to make 168.

That's true, Hopkins is strong. So is Calzaghe. Neither man will be bullied around on the 19th. The Welsh are warriors and they fight for fun. All due respect to them.
