Because Cintron wants a rematch with the only man to give him a loss on his record. Do I think he should have got a rematch?... mmm Sometimes I say yes and sometimes I say no.. pretty much undecided.
On one hand he was coming off a 9 month layoff because of hand injuries and surgery.. So now that he is fine I'm like ok let him get another chance..
On the second hand I think... well the first wasn't competitive enough and it was too one sided for a rematch so no. I think Hatton shouldn't be getting a rematch against Mayweather for this very reason.
But the plus is that whoever wins fights Cotto next so the fight will happen anyways.

Ya ok but why have an eliminator to face Cotto when Gomez shouldnt even be his sparring partner. I mean where the hell does Gomez come into play here? Yeah Cotto deserves a gift fight but still whats the point? If he does lose it will be terrible.

are you really complaining about a free fight from someone who fights multiple fights a year against hard comp? seriously? so you would rather them spar and not to watch it with HBO production value?

No I want to see it of course its a great night of fights!
Cotto doesnt seem like the type of fighter who passes up on great fights or backs down from challeneges so Im just suprised he didnt want Cintron or Marg its all Im saying. You know if by some bizzare turn of events if Gomez wins Floyd will jump on Gomez and fight him on PPV immediately and say well why should I fight Cotto? I fought a guy who beat him..
Cotto's earned an easier fight and Cintron needs to legitimize his belt. He's probably the least regarded of the champs. He might be more known than Quintana is but Quintana's more respected since he stopped the Williams hype train. And Cotto's gonna face the winner of that fight anyway.
