Always talk of Floyd not giving the fans what they want and many think if he fought Hatton again, a guy he beat convincingly, he would be in it only for money and starving the fans of what they really want. Well doesnt it go both ways, Hatton is saying "two more fights then Mayweather", but why, he was exposed, why not give the fans what they want with a fight with Witter or at least why give us what we dont want to see and thats another fight with Floyd, it takes two and works both ways. Floyd cant fight you unless you agree to it, I can't think of another fighter who has handpicked fighters more than Ricky has, where is Collazo's rematch, win that fight convincingly and maybe the public will think you pose more of a challenge to Floyd, I've never heard Hatton mouth Cotto's name nor any other bigger fighter whom everyone seems to want little Floyd to fight. Double standards are always consistent where hate is involved.

only people happy with this is Hatton fans. Non hatton fans are practically saying hatton is gonna get destroyed so i dont see where no one is hating on Hatton.
But the reality is that Hatton is the one that lost and wants to prove he can win. Floyd is the won that won convincingly and is fighting just to get the money. If anyone deserves any hate the most, its Floyd in my opinion. -

Seems like it, Hatton doesnt think he can win thats the point, he enjoyed that huge paycheck the first go around is why he wants a rematch. Where is Collazo's rematch that he promised at the press conference? Witter is in your backyard, but he is afraid of getting knocked out again. Ricky handpicks more than anyone I know.Comment

I agree with you for the most part, but you seem to want to put the blame ONLY on Hatton as the thread title implies.

When a fighter loses, its only makes sense that they would want to avenge their loss. Whether Ricky believe he can win or not doesnt really matter. he has the right to seek a rematch just like Floyd has the right to fight who ever he wants. But in a situation such as this, where you have the world's best fighter choosing to rematch a fighter he completely outclassed and knocked out solely for the money, it is naive to become dissatisfied by the amount criticism he receives. Especially when he is considered the world's most elite fighter.
What you are saying is almost as illogical as those who say that it is Oscar De La Hoya's fault that THAT rematch is happening because Oscar is the biggest draw in the sport and Floyd is "forced" to rematch him because he doesnt have any other options that could benefit him financially as Oscar can.Comment
