Same country...Morales . Berrera....Vazquez . Marquez(for ex.)....they always seem to be more excting because they want to be the best from their country.
I'd like to see the up and coming Pinoys go at it like the Mexicans do. Some other countries are equally guilty.
Boxing has always seemed to be divided on nationalistic lines, and those fights sell, but if you are the best, fight the best, no matter where they are from.
The Mexicans do that.
Depends really. Usually it's domestic, but if the two separate countries have a feud, and everything is politically tense, that automatically gives the fight a new meaning, and (at least for me) provides a better viewing experience.
It's tough to say. Rivalries are built between two fighters, not necessarily great ones, who take each other to the limit and deliver incredible performances. Ali-Frazier, Gatti-Ward, Barrera-Morales, etc.
