i think the recent backlash has to do with how he reacted vs feliciano.didn't seem to be hurt threw out the fight then when they stopped it he starts rolling on the floor.

that and the fact that rather than give Margarito's victory any credit Cintron seemed to give excuse after excuse as to why he lost. To me, it didn't show a warrior's mentality to go that route but instead brought in questions as to the man's mental make up. I think this is fortified by the way he acted post Feliciano fight as well

good point and I would also add that it seems rather convenient that he uses the hand injury as an excuse as to why he can't fight Paul Williams, even so much as to have his promoter Main Events put out a press release stating at best he is out indefinitely then all of sudden make himself available to a Margarito rematch.

Cintron has some questionable fortitude IMO and if he can overcome that he has a great shot at beating Margarito.
